Process

How a project goes.

Six steps, no surprises. Most of your time is at the start and the end.

The steps

From the first email to the live link.

  1. You send an inquiry

The form below takes two minutes. Tell me the business, what the site needs to do and what's not working now.

  2. We talk for 30 minutes

Phone or video. I ask about your customers, your busiest services and the questions you answer over and over. You get a flat quote afterward.

  3. I design a concept

A real page in your fonts, colors and information, viewed in the browser at desktop and phone size, not a static mockup you have to imagine.

  4. I build it

Fast, accessible and written so people can find you on Google. Booking or contact connected to whatever tool you already use.

  5. You give feedback, twice

Two rounds of changes are included: one on the concept, one on the built site. Small fixes after launch are covered by the upkeep plan.

  6. Launch

The site goes live on your domain. I hand over the login details, and you decide whether you want me to keep it updated.

What you'll need to bring

Your services and prices, hours, address and phone, a logo if you have one (fine if you don't), and any photos of your space or work. If you don't have good photos yet, we plan around it. I write the words.

FAQ

Questions clients ask.

If yours isn't here, ask it in the inquiry form.

How do we get started?

Send the inquiry form. I reply by email with a few questions or a time to talk. After a 30-minute call you get a flat quote and a start date, and nothing is owed until you say yes.

Do I need to write the text or take photos?

No. You tell me about the business and I write the site. Photos help, but I've designed sites that look finished without any, and I'll tell you honestly if yours need replacing.

How long does a one-page site take?

Two to three weeks from our kickoff call, as long as I have your prices, hours and photos within the first week. Most of the schedule depends on how quickly you can send information and feedback, and I'll give you a date in the quote.

How many changes can I ask for?

Two rounds are included: once on the concept, once on the built site. After that, changes are billed by the hour or covered by the monthly upkeep plan.

How does payment work?

Half when we start, half at launch. Upkeep is billed monthly and can be cancelled any time.

Who owns the site?

You do. The domain is registered in your name, and the content and design are yours. If you stop the monthly plan, I send you the site files and transfer the domain to you at no charge; you'd then host it yourself or with someone else.

Can you connect my booking system?

Yes, if it has a public booking page or an embed (Vagaro, Square, GlossGenius, Mindbody, Acuity and similar all do). The site sends people straight there instead of to a request form.

Ready when you are.
